Restaurant Information - Creative Cuisine and Motsunabe - Nobunaga Main Restaurant
[The Hospitality of Master Nobunaga] Customer satisfaction to please every customer
From Gifu to the entire nation! Motsunabe Nobunaga carries on Oda Nobunaga’s spirit of national unification by aiming to open a restaurant in every one of Japan’s prefectures.
We work hard every day to provide the ultimate food and the ultimate hospitality. Located in Gifu City, recently designated as a Japan Heritage site as “An Ancient Castle Town with the Spirit of Nobunaga’s Hospitality,” Motsunabe Nobunaga diligently seeks to provide a level of service that rivals that of luxury inns and hotels. Our attention to detail extends even to the plate ware we use, Imashiro-yaki dishes from Osaka. We layer the dishes to create a surprising plating effect, making our food not just a pleasure to eat, but a pleasure to look at as well! At the heart of our menu are our authentic Hakata motsunabe and our Kagoshima Satsuma Chiran Chicken dishes, but we also serve a variety of side dishes that let you enjoy fresh, authentic, straight-from-the-farm flavor.
A relaxing atmosphere that fuses East and West
Our restaurant interior, inspired by Oda Nobunaga’s love of Western culture, infuses Western elements into a Japanese atmosphere. The Gifu Castle Main Restaurant has both subdued semi-private tables (seating up to eight) and Japanese tatami-mat seating that even customers accompanied by children can enjoy (seating up to 12)! You can relax and enjoy your meal. There are also microphones and a stage for lively banquets. |
